seasonal food foray
Start at Pickled Sisters, finish somewhere you didn't expect. The Food Foray takes you on a progressive lunch across four of Rutherglen's most iconic addresses — us, then Chambers Rosewood, Pfeiffer Wines and Andrew Buller Wines. At each stop, you'll sit down to an entrée-sized dish matched to a glass of wine from that cellar. Four stops. Four matches. A whole day that feels exactly like this region at its best. Between stops, you drive or ride. The Wahgunyah to Rutherglen rail trail connects the wineries and, honestly, the cycling is half the reason people come back. Either way, there's no rush. $100 per person. Available Thursday to Monday. We ask for 24 hours notice, and dietary requirements are sorted at the time of booking. picnic hampers
There are worse ways to spend an afternoon than a blanket by the Murray, a glass of local wine and a hamper full of food we made that morning. All our hampers are packed with homemade food - the same care that goes into the kitchen goes into the box. Standard hampers are available to book online below through our takeaway page, ready to take out to Lake Moodemere, the vineyards or wherever you feel like settling. For something bespoke - a larger group, a special occasion, a custom menu - just give us a call.

We cater corporate events, private parties, weddings and community gatherings across Rutherglen and beyond - and Stewart designs every menu personally, from scratch, for each occasion.
